Dick Dunham founded Dunham Well Drilling in Winter Haven, Florida in 1950. Today, his grandson Todd Dunham runs day-to-day operations alongside Jim Courson, who joined the company more than 30 years ago and brings deep expertise across every pump type you'll find in Central Florida.
Our full-line machine shop lets us rebuild most residential pumps, turbines, and a large variety of commercial pumps — which means faster turnaround for you and a lower bill for parts.

How deep will my well need to be?
Depth varies by parcel and intended use. We drill 2" shallow irrigation wells and 4"–8" deep wells. Call (863) 965-2881 with your location and we'll give you a straight answer.
How much does a well cost?
It depends on depth, casing size, pump type, pressure tank, and any filtration. Too many variables to quote over chat — call (863) 965-2881 and we'll walk through it with you. Financing available with approved credit.
Do you offer financing?
Yes — financing is available with approved credit (WAC) on new well installs and pump jobs.
What pumps do you carry?
Goulds, Sta-Rite, Grundfos, Schaefer, and turbine pumps. We sell new and used pumps and rebuild residential pumps and commercial turbines in our full-line machine shop.
What do I do if my pump got hit by lightning?
